Just complaining about a not-that-awesome facial experience.

Well, I'm someone who hardly go for facials because extraction is so painful! But you know... as you grow older, your skin becomes worst and you start to panic and try to save it. So, I'm hunting for a convenient, good and hopefully affordable facial place.

I always had a good impression of FIL, though I can't remember why. So, I bought a Groupon:

I went to their outlet in Plaza Singapura and the place looked professional and clean. First impression was confirmed good. The beautician did not really hard-sell directly but told me stuff like it is not good to 'facial-hop' although it is cheap to buy coupons and try out different places. She shared of a customer who suay suay (unluckily) had outbreaks all over her face after doing a facial that was not suitable for her skin. I really 哭笑不得... she tried hard to not sound like she's hard selling. The rest of the conversation was just weird.

The whole facial experience was just very ordinary. Of course they did what was included in the voucher but still left me feeling all oily, which i hate. But at least there was nothing stuck in my hair.

After I signed some papers and declined their offer to sign package... I was given a feedback form. The staff whom I thought had very good service sat there and stare at me filling it up. I wanted to give my honest feedback but ended up checking everything 'good'. I think I was too shocked to react. Seriously. This is ridiculous. She don't even know the basics.

Nevermind that. I was given tea like every facial place. The difference is, I felt the pressure to leave. Imagine this... she picks up the feedback form, stands up and look at you. I purposely took my time to keep my receipt and took a sip of tea but she's still there. They would usually say “不要紧,你慢慢来” and leave you alone. But not here! My goodness, she continued to stand there. This is all happening in a tiny consultation room. I can't even have another minute to wake up from the facial and finish my tea? This is what i hate the most. Even those small beauty shops I've been to didn't make this mistake.

Ok, so I'm never ever going back here again. I'm not saying that their facials aren't good... but just ranting. Maybe because I am super unlucky or something. I thought it was quite common sense to not stare when your customer is filling a feedback form or drinking tea. Argh!

I do have a facial place I like, shall share it next time when I'm sure I'll stick with them. They always leave my skin looking radiant. ;)

Thanks for reading, Beautiful!
